CLIMATE CHANGE
The planet earth is home to many living beings, however, in recent years climate change is already a reality, the temperature of the earth's surface has increased due to the excess of greenhouse gases, which is harming both our ecosystems as well as our ways of life. The loss of ice masses at the poles, the rise in sea level and, in general, the warming of the atmosphere and the oceans of our planet, are signals to take action and change our habits.
• Reduce emissions. • Save water when showering. • Use public transport.
• Save energy to fight climate change. • Eat low-carbon foods. • Carry out reforestation.
• Use saving light bulbs. • Practice the 3 'R' of sustainability (reduce, reuse, recycle)
These are examples of actions we can take to reduce our ecological footprint.
If we don't put this into action:
-There will not be enough clean water.
-There will be no green spaces.
-There will be no natural resources.
-There will be no variety of animals.
-The people will not have health.
Climate change is not only an environmental phenomenon but one with profound economic and social consequences. The poorest countries, which are least prepared to face rapid changes, will be the ones that will suffer the worst consequences. Not everyone is prepared to combat these problems and solve themselves with what is available.
With good consumption practices we are helping to generate a lower impact on the environment, creating a clearer and more sustainable future for ourselves and for future generations, we protect the natural resources of the planet, which, let us not forget, are limited.
We are part of nature and like any other species, our destiny is linked to that of planet Earth.
